-Watching a Texas Rangers game in Arlington (however, the team for the umpteenth year needs pitching!!!)

-Tubing down the Comal River in New Braunfels

Gasoline, the new headache

Before I went to America I had heard that gas prices were rising. That was before Hurricane Katrina. As I got to Houston, I found that gas prices were up to $3.19 a gallon. Fortunately, after the immediate crisis was over, prices dropped down to $2.49.
