Last Wednesday I arrived in Arkalik with several students. We arrived by train at 7:30 a.m. but I could tell immediately that the day would be warm…that turned out to be an understatement! As the day got longer, the temperatures got hotter. Eventually, settling on around 93-95 degrees!
