Well, after almost 2 years I finally got to play some basketball. I won’t call what we played a “game” since they had their own rules. There were no fouls called, double dribble (what’s that!).
We got to the gym, dressed and within the first five minutes of playing I stepped on another players foot. OUCH! Boy, did it hurt! I’m sure I sprained it a little since it has hurt some today.
What’s most interesting is that I have been having a problem with my right leg. I think I pulled a muscle in December. I was a little worried that playing would cause more pain. BUT, it never hurt during the game or afterwards.
Oh, by the way, we had to pay to use the gym. Cost… 50 tenge which is about 40 cents. Not a bad bargain for some exercise.
