It seems that much of what I have written recently deals with the weather. Well, during winter, that is much of the life here.

If you have checked the calendar, it is March 9. I awoke with a beautiful sunrise happening! Yesterday the sun was out all day, and it looks like it may happen again today! However, it is a little cold…9 degrees right now. This has definitely been the coldest and snowiest winter since I have lived in Kiev.

I saw the weather for DFW and it is to be in the upper 70’s. I won’t be seeing those temps any time soon. OH, maybe when I arrive in Texas next month for my mom’s 80th birthday celebration!
