The main reason I made the trip to Texas this month was to be here to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday. (I know that it is hard to believe considering how young I look and feel…) We had a come and go party on Saturdsay with cake and punch and then the family went out to eat at a great fish restaurant.

It was great to see family and friends that I haven’t seen for years.

We are in the process of getting rid of most of my mom’s stuff since she had moved to a full care facility. Pray for her adjustment. There are many things she is having to deal with right now.

We hope to finish with her stuff by Tuesday so that I can relax a couple of days before going to Fort Worth.
