It’s hot here. Now, I know everyone in the south, and especially my friends in Texas, are thinking, yea, right! But it is!

The last three days have been 88, and 90. Already it is 88 and it is only 12 noon here as I type this. Now, for some of you, that’s not hot. But, you must remember, we do not have air conditioning here like America.

The only relief I have in my apartment is the ocassional breeze and the two fans that I have. The other day, to add to the heat was humidity.

So, I have been thinking a lot about swimming recently. I haven’t been swimming much in the two years here, but I am hoping to find a good spot to go swimming.

I was sharing with someone yesterday that I will experience these temps probably in September when I go to Texas. Maybe this is just getting me used to what it will be like…
