It has been very rainy here in Karaganda since I arrived 3 weeks ago. There have only been a few days where it hasn’t rained. It reminds me of last summer. However, it hasn’t been a cool this summer as last.

The main street in town floods frequently when there is rain and so the usual 4-6 lane road is down to 3 or 4 lanes. My problem of late has been to leave my umbrella in the car in the evening (since it stops raining by then) and the next morning it is pouring down and you know where my umbrella is…not at home where i need it!
