Sunday afternoon the snow began to fall and fall and fall. By late evening it was beautiful in Kyiv. There must have been 4-5 inches that fell on Sunday. It was a wet snow so the snow clung to the trees.
The next morning the sidewalks and roads around the apartment where I have been staying had already been cleared. The workers must have gotten up really early as this was around 7:15 when I noticed it.
Well, by Monday noon the temps rose above freezing and so the snow was melting. There are hardly any signs of the snow now on Tuesday noon.
I am at the airport waiting for my flight to Moscow. This will be my third trip there but my first where I stayed more than a few hours…
