A first for me in Ukraine!

I went bowling Tuesday morning! It is something I have wanted to do for sometime in Ukraine and Kazakhstan, but have never taken the time to do so. One of the mission families that live near me was going with their boys, who are on fall break, and they were taking their boy’s tutor who had never been bowling.

The bowling alley is fairly new and modern. Several lanes are equipped with bumpers for children. These are automatic. You just tell the controller who the children are that needs the bumpers when you give them the line up card. It was cool to see them come up and down!

It was exciting to watch everyone play. I can’t remember the last time I went bowling so I was really rusty. I have always done well the first game I bowled and then the second game would see my scores fall. Well, that was exactly what happened to me today. The first game went okay and the second was so-so.

Well, here’s to next time! I hope it won’t be such a long wait.
