I arrived back in Kiev on Saturday evening. On Sunday, I went to church at Grace and it was a wonderful service. They have almost finished remodeling the place where they have services. New paint, light fixtures, curtains over the windows, and floor covering. It is taking shape!
My pastor, Vova, preached and did a superb job. He is one of the best I have heard in Ukraine! Pasha, another friend, preached as well. He gets more at ease with preaching each time!
Sunday night, I had arranged for Mick to preach at Central Baptists’ youth service. They had a focus on missions. The students from Kiev Christian University that will be going on misison trips this summer shared in music and testimony and the church took up an offering for the students.
Mick’s sermon was fantastic! He did a great job of conveying the message of why we need to be on mission. After the service, I had the opportunity to share with a number of people who are interested in going on short term and long term mission projects. It is exciting to see youth catching a vision of God’s love for the world.
It was great to be in Prague, however, it was great to be back in my own bed in the place I call home. Thank you for praying…
