BCS Championship

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in the matchup for the championship game.  Hawaii is the only undefeated team and they should be playing in the game.  I know that they don’t play in an especially difficult conference, however, there was a time (before BCS) that the undefeated teams played in the game.  That is not so now…

I’m sure the game will be great, especially since LSU will be playing what is essentially a home game for them.  Not sure who I will be rooting for… not sure it really matters… Give us a playoff system!!!!

  1. Hey Joe,
Pam is VERY excited that LSU will be playing in the BCS championship. So, how did Oklahoma fare?
Hope all is well with you. Have you been to visit our former neighbors downstairs from our old apartment? If you get the chance, drop in and say Hello and Merry Christmas from us.
    Have a great week!

    In Him,

  2. Joe,

I wanted to let you know that my church and I are praying for you this week as you minister in Kazakhstan (even though the Lottie Moon Week of Prayer brochure has you in Ukraine!). May God bless you and draw you closer to His glorious cross.

  3. Lisa in NC,
FYI: The Week of Prayer brochure was in the process of being prepared when the decision was made for me to move to Kazakhstan.

Thank you so much for your prayers.

  4. Geaux Tigers!!!

    (That’s LSU for Go Tigers!!)

It will be a game to see!

Hope you have a great holiday season in your neck of the woods!

  5. Deb, Mark and Pam,
Sure you can be excited, but where is the playoff system??? If LSU and Hawaii wins, LSU will be “crowned” champion with 2 loses, while Hawaii will be undefeated.
Let LSU win the championship on the field, not in some poll…
Not sure who I will be rooting for… I like both teams and wanted to attend both schools when I started the college process too many years ago to want to remember…
