Christians are sometimes willing to believe emails they receive from their friends, even if it sounds too good to be true. I remember the Microsoft email that guaranteed people lots of money for forwarding emails to their friends.
In this election year, I have read some outlandish claims about some of the candidates. I was reading Baptist Press today and they covered a story on Obama’s problem with emails that have taken a life of their own. Whether you like the man or not, one should not contribute to distributing falsehoods about him or any of the candidates. The BP story can be read here.
I take it as a reminder to be wise and careful when forwarding emails whatever the topic may be.
