Extremely busy week

I’m sorry for not updating on the remodeling progress.  I have been very busy helping the guys so that we could finish this week. I have spent most days this week painting, etc.  I hope to post more Saturday night along with some photos.  In short, we are finished!!! Hallelujah!

    Joe,
I saw a comment you made on Tim Ellsworth’s blog and I noticed you live in Karaganda. I did a mission trip to Karaganda in 2000 and fell in love with those people. I saw Karaganda and immediately was drawn to you and found it necessary to comment. We brought handbells from Illinois to a church I can not remember, but we worked with Paul Babb and his family, although they’re no longer in KZ. I know this isn’t exactly the most eloquent of comments, but I was very surprised to see anything about KZ and I am still trying to get my thoughts in order. All I really wanted to say is I’m praying for you. I know that is a difficult place to be. That is all.

  2. Jennie,
Thanks for stopping by. Paul and his family are now in Kyiv, Ukraine (just moved there last fall).
I, too, fell in love with Kazakhstan and Karaganda on my first visit here in January 2005. So much so I finally got to move here!
We had a handbell group here in February 2005.
Come see us again in Karaganda!
