God at work at Grace Church

Today I attended the services at Grace Church in Kiev. The main musician was home sick and so his wife led the music. It was a very worshipful time.

Valodia then preached from 1 Corinthians 9:19-27. It was one of the best sermons I have heard him preach. Several of the points he made about our Christian lives were that we had to know our purpose in life; that we all have gifts or talents; character matters and we have to have discipline. I really enjoyed worshipping with the believers there. It was possibly the largest crowd they have ever had, around 90-100 people and they are meeting in the chapel at Central Baptist since being kicked out of their building in June.

God is at work there and I am excited that they have begun praying about starting a sister church in 2006!
