Hint of Fall in the air

Woke up this morning to rain. It rained until around 10 a.m. and the sun finally began to shine around noon.

I went to the garage to get a few more things I needed to set up house. I noticed as soon as I stepped out the door that it was cooler than the day before. That is normal after a rain here.

Anyway, I got my things I needed from the garage and then came back to the apartment and worked on preparing to teach at the Bible Institute.

I spent the afternoon doing research, reading, preparing notes, etc. By late afternoon I needed a break, plus the sun was bright and not a cloud in the sky.

I went to look at some living room furniture. Wouldn’t you know that the couch I liked the VERY best had to cost the VERY most (I know this isn’t grammatically correct…)!! More than I could afford in Texas, definitely more than I can afford here!

Nothing else even compared in quality and comfort. Oh well.

By the time I took the car back to the parking lot, the wind had picked up. It was getting cooler with the wind. Definitely feels like summer is leaving us and fall is on the way…
