Without words

Christian JFK Jr

There are times when I am moved to tears. Seeing the photo on the left is one of those times. The young man, Christian, is receiving a US flag that draped his father’s casket. Marc, his father, served in Iraq and was finishing up his second tour when he was killed.

Seeing the photo reminded me of JFK Jr’s photo of him saluting his father as his father’s casket passed by (above right).

We have this saying, “A photo is worth a 1,000 words.” Well the above photos are worth lots more. As I read the story about Marc and his sacrifice to our country I was reminded of the value of freedom and the price paid for it.  If you take the time to read the story, would you please pray for Christian and his mother?
